About this Episode

Oh yeah we want it beautiful, but HEALTHY too! A healthy home is so important not only to avoid germs, but moreover for the functioning of your house. Listen in for lots of great tips & advice.

Yvonne uses organic Thieves from Young Living to clean all her surfaces. Have you tried it? Have a look HERE to learn all about it.

Use only stainless steel or cast iron pots & pans. Non-stick releases fumes & can chip off into your food. Kelly uses this All Clad pan - see HERE.

Add a plant or one every 100 square feet as per Nasa!

Try micro-fiber cloths. They hold the dirt rather than pushing it around. Get a set HERE.

Forego the scented dryer sheets for organic wool dryer balls. Get some HERE.

Or make your own with Yvonne's tutorial. Get the steps HERE.

Put changing your house filters in your calendar for at least every 6 months - every 3 if you are feeling up to it.

Wipe down all door knob, handles, cell phones and any objects that get lots of touches to avoid spreading germs. For a real thorough clean use a mixture of bleach & water.

If you succumb to a cold or the flu or just because it is SO good, make a big pot of Yvonne's chicken soup. Get the recipe HERE.
